Welcome to MAAC 

The Metro Atlanta Aquatic Club (MAAC) is a year-round competitive swim team that was established in 2013 and is located in Atlanta, GA.  The competitive swimming program is made of three training groups, Age Group Competitive (AGC), Advanced Age Group (AAG), and The MAAC Racing Club (MRC). MAAC also offer a non-competitive swim team through our Pre-Competitive Swimming Program for our younger swimmers. We are a family program providing athlete-centered, technique-centered coaching.

Our team practices at the Campus Recreation Center at Georgia Tech, 750 Ferst Drive, Atlanta, GA 30318. 

Trusting the Process

All of our instructors have taught lessons and most have swam competitively in college.  Our coaching staff is comprised of former swimmers, swim lessons instructors, and parents, we understand the importance of laying a strong foundation for each swimmers' development. The process of improvement is never ending and ever evolving. We aim to teach our swimmers and parents to trust in the process and enjoy the journey.  We have developed Jr. National Champions, Olympic Qualifiers, NCAA All-Americans, and several Scholarship Athletes. 

Developing Life Skills

We have a passionate group of coaches focused who work everyday to instill in our athletes, the importance of supporting their teammates, great sportsmanship, positive attitudes.  We encourage our swimmers to strive for excellence. Our staff has always believed that swimming is a vehicle for build great character and fast swimming and self fulfillment are inevitable if our swimmers complete the process.  We aim to supplement the great work our parents do every day. 

Swimming at MAAC will not only help your child become a better swimmer but will teach your child the important life lessons of dedication, mental toughness, sportsmanship, patience, and hard work.
